Specifications
Size
Each individual manual polycarbonate roller shutter can be manufactured up to a total of 9 square meters and for electrically operated roller shutter it can be manufactured up to 6 m wide and 5m high.
Curtain
The curtain is constructed using interlocking 18mm / 23mm extruded aluminium connecting rods and 335mm by 85mm 2mm thk polycarbonate slats. The slats are retained in position by means of allen key type machining screws.
Bottom Bar
The bottom bar is an ‘T’ shaped extruded aluminium profile that is 63mm wide by 75mm height.
Side guide
The side guide is manufactured from and extruded aluminium section 45mm deep and 32 mm wide.
Mullions
Standard 180 degree mullions are manufactured from an extruded aluminium section of 114mm Deep by 32mm Wide and could be lifted out type with shoot bolts at the base. Special mullions to suit any angle can be fabricated with aluminum hollow sections securing to the standard side guides
Locking
The handle bar slat is manufactured from an extruded aluminium section that houses a keyed center or side lock. This operates a aluminium ‘C’ channel which when in locked position will secure into the side guide on both side of the opening. The standard locking position allows for double sided lock with operation from both inside and outside. Muliple roller shutters can be keyed alike.
Sub-assembly
The sub-assembly is manufactured from 145mm mild steel wheels with fully enclosed ball bearings which rotate around a 25mm steel Shaft. The Steel shaft shall be fitted with helical coil springs designed to counter balance the curtain weight throughout its full operations.
Operation
Manual operation, simply push up and pulled down with supplied Handle pole. Chain Block / Planetery gear system can be fitted to one end of the Roller Shutter to assist in manual operation of a greater height of more than 4m. Electrical operation with push button, remote control or Key operation.
Finish
Natural Anodised as a standard or Colour powder coating as an option in Oxyplus powder coat range.
